How It Started
A Problem Nobody Else Was Solving
Peak Defense Works started with a simple problem: nobody was building serious chassis systems for the Taurus TX22. Sam set out to change that, designing the TX-7 MTN2 chassis from the ground up as the first MP7-style build to hit the market for the platform. Since launch, thousands have shipped to shooters who wanted more control, more stability, and more fun out of a pistol most people underestimated.

How It's Built
Designed and Printed in Central Utah
Every product is designed and manufactured right here in Central Utah, on a print floor Sam runs himself, giving us complete control over form, fit, and finish from the initial idea all the way to a product in your hands. Instead of outsourcing ideas or chasing trends, we focus on creating parts and components that are clean, functional, durable, and built for real-world use. Nothing ships until it has been run under real recoil, not just tested on a bench.

Owner-Operated
No Investors, No Shortcuts
The company is fully owner-operated. Sam owns the product and the intellectual property outright, having walked away from an earlier partnership that wanted a three-way profit split and shared IP rights. We put a huge emphasis on smart design and modern, efficient additive manufacturing to keep pricing as low as possible without cutting corners.
